The brief
Prumo builds housing, schools and health centres around Coimbra, with four or five sites running at once and about 180 people on them. Drawings lived in a shared folder, snags on paper lists and in site managers’ WhatsApp photos, and deliveries in a diary in the cabin. A wrong revision of a drawing had cost the company six weeks on a school in 2023. Prumo wanted one app its foremen would actually open, on the phones and rugged tablets they already carried, before its largest housing job began in spring 2025.
The idea
On a site every problem has a place, so everything in the app starts from the drawing. The tablet shows only the current revision, with snags pinned where they are. On the phone a snag is a photo, a pin and a trade, and each morning opens on the day’s deliveries: what, from whom, at which gate, and whether the crane is booked. Orange means today, and nothing else in the app is orange.
Every site, one page
In the office, each site is drawn as its own building: floors done in white, the floor in progress in high-vis orange, with open snags and late deliveries underneath.

One site
A site opens on its photograph and three numbers: floors done, open snags, and what is late today.

Drawings on the tablet
The current revision on a rugged tablet, with every open snag pinned where it is. Old revisions are locked away.

Snags and trucks
On the phone a snag is a photo, a pin and a trade; the morning opens on the day’s trucks, the late one in black.

What changed
Prumo has run every site on the app since April 2025. No one has built from an old revision since, and the morning delivery list replaced the cabin diary within a month. Subcontractors now ask for access before they’re asked.
