The brief
Eixo runs 12 physiotherapy clinics around Porto, from Matosinhos to Maia, with 70 physios treating backs, knees and shoulders, sports injuries and recovery after surgery. Most patients book from a phone, often on a break at work, and the old site made them choose a clinic, then a service code, then a practitioner before showing a single free slot. A third gave up and phoned instead. Eixo wanted booking to take a minute, and a site that could add new clinics without a designer, by spring 2025.
The idea
Patients don’t know which treatment they need, but they know where it hurts. So the site and the booking start there: pick the place, and Eixo suggests the nearest physio who treats it, with tomorrow’s free times underneath. Booking is one screen, and the confirmation tells you what to wear. Every clinic shares one template, so a new one is a page added in an afternoon.
Where does it hurt?
The home page is a drawn body. Tap the place that hurts, and Eixo shows the nearest physio who treats it with tomorrow’s first free time.

Treatments
Each treatment page says, in large type, what patients ask first: how many visits, how long, how much.

Booked
The confirmation is the day and the time, set as large as the screen allows.

After the visit
Exercises from the physio arrive in the app, counted off one by one between visits.

Clinic pages
One template for all 12 clinics, so the front desk can add the next one in an afternoon.

What changed
The site launched in March 2025, built in Framer, and the front-desk team added two new clinics that summer without a designer. Phones at the clinics ring less, and the calls that come in are about treatment, not times.
