The brief
Sebe is Rui Pacheco and a team of four who design gardens in and around Porto: courtyards in the old town, terraces on the hills of the Minho, a few school grounds and roofs. Most clients came by word of mouth and then asked the same two questions: what does it look like after three years, and what grows in it? The old site was a gallery of planting-day photos, bare soil and young plants with no names. Sebe wanted a site that answered both questions before the first meeting, in time for the spring enquiries of 2026.
The idea
A garden is judged in its third summer, so the site shows each one then, rephotographed across a season in the light that suits it. Every garden opens on one picture, and the planting list sits beside it like a caption: Latin names and the month each plant is at its best. On a phone the list is the page, because clients read it standing in their own gardens.
Home
Every garden is shown in its third summer, photographed for the site, with one line under each: the place, the size and the year.

A garden’s page
Each garden opens on one photograph and a title that says what was done. Its plants are set as herbarium labels: the Latin name, the terrace, and a strip of the twelve months.

The index
Twenty-three gardens by name, one line each, with the picture following the cursor.

On the phone
On a phone the photograph comes first and the plant labels follow, set large enough to read outside in the sun.

What changed
The site went live in February 2026, built in Framer so the studio can add each garden itself in its third summer. Enquiries now arrive with a garden named, and often a plant from its list.
